Northland Power – Intelligent Energy for a Greener Planet

On completion, the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm will generate approximately 1.1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity per year, enough to supply 328,000 households with clean energy. Northland Power is proud to support the expanded implementation of renewable energy.

The 269 megawatt Deutsche Bucht wind farm is the third North Sea wind farm of Canada-based independent power producer Northland Power Inc.

Northland Power is a global developer, owner and operator of sustainable infrastructure assets that deliver predictable cash flows. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Northland was founded in 1987 and has been publicly traded since 1997 on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: NPI). Northland has two two operational North Sea wind farms – Gemini and Nordsee One – in which the company has stakes of 60 and 85 percent respectively.

Deutsche Bucht is being built by the project company Northland Deutsche Bucht based in Hamburg, which is 100 per cent owned by Northland Power Inc.
